AWARDS
One of our site managers has received a 2018 NHBC Pride in the Job Quality Award which celebrates the exceptional contribution site managers make in creating homes of outstanding quality. Around 16,000 site managers are assessed with only 300 awards made, which means the accolade recognises the industry’s top two per cent who produce the best quality new homes, built and finished to the highest possible standards.
As well as undergoing spot checks of the day-to-day running of their site, each site manager is assessed across 37 different areas of site management, including technical knowledge, quality and consistency.
The Hampshire Homes award winners were:
Tom Wallace for Ashton Walk, Southampton

CHARITY
Hampshire Homes are a corporate partner of Southampton Hospital Charity- Piam Brown Ward
Tom Moody our Managing Director took part in a White Collar Boxing event which raised an astounding £5,500 for the charity, this not only challenges you physically but also mentally.
Tom trained for over 6 months to prepare him for the fight along with a number of other competitors. The evening raised a huge amount of money for the individual charities and was one to remember.
COMMUNITY
Being a local business we are also a sponsor for the Romsey Relay Marathon which was originally inspired as part of the Olympic Legacy. The Rotary Club of Romsey envisaged a simple event for a couple of hundred runners spending the best part of a Spring Sunday running jogging or walking on a track in the beautiful setting of Broadlands Park. Since 2013 the event has grown from the original 32 teams to an entry of 175 teams in 2019. Runners have ranged in age from 8 to 80 years old. The event has now become a firm fixture in the Romsey calendar with several thousand spectators turning out to support the teams and enjoy the day.
Hampshire Homes take part in this event every year with the aim to raise money for our chosen charity. To really increase the donations we added a tutu to the attire!

SOUTHAMPTON ABP MARATHON
Hampshire Homes took part in the Southampton ABP Marathon to raise money for the Piam Brown Ward at Southampton Hospital.
Piam Brown ward is a childrens cancer and haematology ward working with children from birth all the way through to 16 years old.
We managed to raise in excess of £3,300 for the ward to help out with equipment, arts and crafts and memory trips for the families to enjoy the cherished moments together.
